Hello. I am looking for books for preparation for AB exam. (blue books) The current version "K" of the Able Seaman consists of two books: Able Seaman Volume 1, Able Seaman Volume 2. Able Seaman Book 1 contains the following chapters: Introduction to Able Seaman and Lifeboatman Certification; Basic Principles of Watchkeeping; Nautical Terms and Ship Construction; Marlinspike Seamanship, Purchases, and Safe Work Practices; Anchoring, Mooring & Line Handling; Maneuvering and Handling; Fires, Firefighting & Fire Prevention. Book 2 now contains the following chapters: Pollution Control; First Aid and Medical Care; Emergency Procedures; Aids to Navigation; Advanced Seamanship.
