The four-stage compressor system is skid-mounted as shown on the equipment layout
drawing. The P&I diagram presents a complete flow schematic of the compressor system.
The system consists of an integrally-geared compressor with the following subsystems:
• Local control panel for the operation and the monitoring of the unit (installed next to
the skid).
• Compressor variable diffusor vanes.
• Seal gas system.
• Self-contained lube oil system for the lubrification of the gears and the rotor bearings
in the gearbox.
• Oil demister.
• Lube oil immersion heater.
• Lube oil cooler.
• Double oil filter.
• Electrical auxiliary lube oil pump.
• Gear-driven main lube oil pump.
• Coupling (installed on the low speed shaft of the gearbox).
