I found a solution for my specific problem, but it requires already downloaded maps on 1st device and it still doesn't update charts. I just copied the cache from the 1st (working) phone on the 2nd (new) phone via microSD card with ES File Manager. The main chart cache can be found on the old phone directly under folder Navionics (not Android/Navionics). On the new phone, you have to preinstall Navionics of the same version and delete this Navionics folder before pasting it from the old phone. BTW did anybody try the @madthinkpad solution for v12.x?
casarin_m, arcan will not replay anymore read all the above there is a problem some pepole get around it read above how , otherway we have to wait till somebody get the medicine for the new version of the app
UrbanBatic, When I go to download maps I get the message: "Unable to retrieve unformation." I click ok but nothing happens anymore. Do you know how to solve this?
vdraganzd, because the is a problem with the app en the know a way to block this older version to update again. there are ways around read above comments , ore other way we have to wait to somebody find the new version with the medicine
Maps update instruction (from other site): 1. Completely uninstall Boating HD 11.5 (or any other version) via Android>Settings>Apps (clear cache and data before proceeding) 2. With file manager, e.g. ES File Explorer manually delete folder /storage/emulated/0/Navionics and, in case charts were stored on SD card, folder /storage/card-number/Android/data/it.navionics.singleAppMarineLakeHD 3. In file manager enable Show hidden files and delete files .conf-425226366.sys and .conf-1530411948.udid from folder /storage/emulated/0/Android 4. Install Boating HD 17.0.2 (or any current version) from Google Play Store 5. Create new Navionics account using any fake email 6. Download all necessary charts during 15 days trial period 7. Copy folder tiles from /storage/emulated/0/Navionics/BoatingHD to any location (if downloaded charts coverage is wide or mega-wide, add files to RAR archive, this will significantly reduce copying time) 8. Rename folder tiles to tiles17.0.2 9. Completely uninstall Boating HD 17.0.2 (or any other version) via Android>Settings>Apps 10. Double check if folder tiles17.0.2 is completely copied and again manually delete folder /storage/emulated/0/Navionics 11. Again delete files .conf-425226366.sys and .conf-1530411948.udid from folder /storage/emulated/0/Android 12. Install Boating_HD_Full_Fix_11.5.apk from post #317 13. Start the app. If you wish to place charts on SD card, change Settings>Storage Location to Memory Card and wait for the transfer to finish. Turn off everything in Settings>Privacy Settings and shut down the app 14. Go to /storage/emulated/0/Navionics/BoatingHD or to /storage/card-number/Android/data/it.navionics.singleAppMarineLakeHD (in case Storage Location was changed to Memory Card) 15. Rename folder tiles to tiles11.5 16. Copy folder tiles17.0.2 to /storage/emulated/0/Navionics/BoatingHD or to /storage/card-number/Android/data/it.navionics.singleAppMarineLakeHD (in case Storage Location was changed to Memory Card) 17. Rename folder tiles17.0.2 to tiles 18. In folder tiles rename folder auth to auth17.0.2 19. Copy folder auth from folder tiles11.5 to folder tiles 20. Start the app and test 21. If everything works, delete folders tiles11.5 and auth17.0.2 22. Enjoy!
