the UNITROL.

Start of demonstration sequence:
• bowl is spinning at fullrpm,
• feed valve is re-
circulating,
■ bowl is empty and open
now, let's close the
bowl: I'll open the
operating water valve
- this will push up
the sliding piston
... good, the bowl is now
closed
now, let’s fill the bowl
with water, so we can
flush it...
... I’ll open the
displacement water
solenoid valve...
... good, the bowl
fills up with water.
... and now, we can
perform an ejection - I
will open the operating
water solenoid valve...
... the annular piston
will slide up. and the
sliding piston will slide
down - so I can flush the
bowl
. .in order to improve visualization, the process of sliding
piston openingfclosing ("Hydrostop") has been simplified,
such that the described motion differs from the one
actually occurring in practice..
let's repeat the
sequence for a second
ejection...
let's repeat the sequence
for a second
ejection.......
• bowl is spinning at
full lpm,
• feed valve is re-
circulating.
• bowl is empty and
open
now, let's close the
bowl: I'll open the
operating water valve
- this will push up
the sliding piston
... good, the bowl is no\
closed
now, let’s fill the bowl
with water, so we can
flush it...
... I’ll open the
displacement water
solenoid valve...
... good, the bowl
fills up with water.
... and now, we can
perform an ejection - I
will open the operating
water solenoid valve...
... the annular piston
will slide up. and the
sliding piston will slide
down - so I can flush the
bowl
now, we are ready to
start separation of the
fuel oil...
... let's open the 3/2
way valve, to admit
fuel oil into the
bowl...
. the bowl tills
vith product...
at regular intervals I
must check the
water content inside
the bowl
... good, the Water
Monitoring Sensor
(WSM) is sending
me a signal...
... there is oil in the
sampling line..
so, I will re-circulate
it...
... let's open the re-
circulation solenoid
valve...
the WMS sampling
cycle is being
repeated at periodic
intervals...
... whenever the
WMS tells me there
is oil in die sampling
line, 1 always re-
circulate it...
