The Maritime Autonomous Systems Group (MASG) unites research institutes, vehicle manufacturers, and sensor developers to advance Maritime Autonomous Systems (MAS). Guided by a council-driven work plan, MASG addresses key priorities:
- Infrastructure and Supply Chain: Supporting the MAS value chain.
- STEM and Workforce Development: Preparing future talent through initiatives like the MAChallenge.
- Regulatory Frameworks: Shaping policies for safe and effective MAS operations, including collaboration with the MAS Regulatory Working Group.
- Business Development: Creating opportunities for members via briefings, trade shows, and networking events.
Through the expertise of the MASG Council, SMI and MASG drive innovation, growth, and progress across the UK’s maritime sector.
