As a result of this, the Environmental Committee supported the need to open a dialogue with the New Zealand authorities on the issue and, following the INTERTANKO Secretariat’s engagement with New Zealand’s MPI, the latter provided relevant information that Members should take note of and which has been included in this Guide.
