The authority for the production of plans is contained in section 338(1) of the CSA which is sub-delegated into the Hull Inspection Regulations. For the purpose of this standard, the requirement in the Hull Inspection Regulations for the submission and approval of plans is required by the Board of Steamship Inspection to apply to this Standard.
