Description: The Marine Terminal Baseline Criteria and Assessment Questionnaire has been published by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) to encourage the uniform assessment of standards of safety and environmental protection at chemical, gas, and oil terminals. This publication supercedes the Marine Terminal Survey Guidelines published in 1995 by OCIMF with the assistance of the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGTTO). The Baseline Criteria are written for the assessment of fixed piers, sea islands and buoy mooring terminals. They are not intended for use at producing facilities such as offshore platforms and deepwater loading systems, although the contents could be adapted for such purpose.
