As piracy poses a big problem for sea transport in the whole world, especially in Asia in today’s infographic we hereby present summed up info about piracy in Asia for the first six months of 2015.
According to the data provided by piracy watchdog ReCAAP, there has been an 18% increase in the number of incidents in the region during 1H2015 when compared to the same period last year.
A total of 106 incidents have been reported overall in the region in the said period.
