The passengers were welcomed by the town officials before embarking on a day trip around Teignmouth, which included a visit to Compton Castle. The cruise ship, operated by Hebridean Island Cruises, departed Teignmouth in the evening, to the sounds of a sea shanty group bidding them farewell. Teignmouth Port Manager Dave Atkin said: “This is a historic day.
