Structure of the Guidelines: These Guidelines contain Part A, B, C, D and Annex 1. Part A contains safety requirements for ships using methanol/ethanol. Part B contains safety requirements for ships using LPG. Part C contains safety requirements for ships using ammonia. Part D contains safety requirements for ships using hydrogen. Annex 1 contains the requirements for examining, by application, the status of consideration of ships that do not use gases or other low-flashpoint fuels at the time of their construction but are designed and partially equipped for the future use of such fuels.
