Dear all,
Is there any software which can calculate and analyse fuel consumption of ships?
It can be based on manuel data or digital data from fuel flow machines etc?
Thank you

what do you mean?
I don't know a program that do that specifically. It's a process first you have to know what the effective power would be to move your ship at a certain speed, I use maxsurf resistance with an efficiency of 55% to know how much power I need, then I have to select an engine according with the power I estimated before, and according with the consumption curves you estimate the fuel consumption in different cases or maneuvers.
That's only for the propulsion, you also need to know the consumption of other systems such as generators, pumps, etc.
I hope it can help you.
