Description: This “Management procedure to maintain the Part I of IHM” is established for the purpose of meeting Regulation 5.3 of the Convention and Par. 5.2.2 of the Guidelines by means of properly maintaining, during the ship’s operational stage, the part I of IHM developed according to the Convention and the Guidelines. It is aimed:
1. To fulfill the requirements of regulation
2. To establish reliable standards according to HKC and EU SRR requirements. (as applicable)
3. To standardize the entire process of updating of IHM in line with operation of the ship such as repair, maintenance and purchasing of equipment and components.
4. To ensure that responsibilities for IHM maintenance task is clearly defined.
