Quickly the voyage transformed to more interesting than fun, as the ketch was immediately raked with squalls and storms up and down the East Coast. In the Caribbean, they played along the fringes of a hurricane, barely escaping it's wrath by docking at Cuba, inadvertently while the Cubans were in the middle of a revolution. The start of the voyage was without doubt interesting. But this was only a precursor to their story......with even crazier unforseeable trials and challenges yet to come.
