Accordingly, the Society has published its "Guidelines for Approval in Principle and General Design Approval" (hereinafter referred to as "the Guidelines") to outline and clarify the necessary procedures for these "preliminary" plan approval schemes. We hope that the Guidelines will help to further promote the development activities of new technologies in the field of shipping.
